There is something for everyone at St Mary’s Finedon! With a whole range of worship all aiming for the best in liturgy, music and preaching.
We have a loop system for the hard of hearing and the church is well equipped with accessibility for wheelchair users and a carpeted children’s area equipped with books, toys and activities.
SERVICES
SUNDAY
- 8.00am Holy Eucharist (said)
(a short quite service lasting 30 minutes)
- 9.30am Parish Eucharist (sung)
(The Church’s principle service lasting approx 70 minutes with hymns, choir, prayers, sermon and readings – all are welcome to come to the altar rail at the Communion)
- 6.00pm Sung Evensong
(traditional sung evensong with choir and sermon – approx 60 minutes)
- Isebrook Hospital and Rosewood Court 4.45pm on monthly rota
WEDNESDAY
- 9.15am Holy Eucharist
Saints days and Holy days as announced
OTHER ACTVITIES:
- Young Persons Group – Sunday after Parish Eucharist and young person’s activities as announced.
- CH.A.O.S (children’s activities on Sundays) meet during the Parish Eucharist
- Mother’s Union meets fortnightly contact Mary Shipton
- St Mary’s Fat Club meets Mondays at 7.00pm in church
- St Mary’s Fundraising and Social Group meets monthly at the Vicarage
- St Mary’s Bell ringing – every Thursday evening
- Parish Bingo in St Mary Mulso Church of England School second Friday in the month
- Organ recitals, concerts and visiting choirs as announced
